I lost the will to live with Bob the Builder - got sick and tired of waiting for him to turn up and re-fix the slipped tiles on my roof following the weekends storms! I found myself phoning the Insurance comapny and asking them to sort it out. The conversation didn't go as well as I had hoped; As the roof is brand new, I had assumed that it would still be covered by the guarentee, this isn't the case if the wind blows the tiles off the roof, it's a new case of 'storm damage'. This annoyed me some since all they need to do is fix one darn tile back which is going to cost me the excess of £50. However the insurance company wants to Storm Proof the Roof - and are sending round a team of roofers with scafolding underarm to check the rest of the roof....geez. They believe this could take days. I can see they're point, if there are more loose tiles which can't be seen from the ground then there is always that risk of someone getting de-capatated...but I feel like they are trying to scam me again. Today I'll be watching them, may even go up the ladder wth them. I know that the screws needed to secure roof tiles are galvanated, they can't wear away in 2 years.
Anyway talk later <3<3<3
Darn those Insurance Companys!

I was quoted over £1300.00 just to remove a small patch of concrete from by back garden, put down top soil and lay turf! Needless to say, I aint paying!
